Concerts

For the concerts on 12th May, 7th July and 8th September you can buy tickets online or by sending a cheque payable to The Consort of Twelve together with a stamped addressed envelope to Jonathan Randall, 22 Orkney Road, Portsmouth, PO6 3UE.

Ticket arrangements for the recital on 25th October are as in the recital details below.

Tickets will be available at the door for all concerts, except where the concert is sold out beforehand.

You may wish to bring cushions to our concerts. All seats are unreserved.

Organ Recital by Margaret Phillips

 

The opening recital by international recitalist Margaret Phillips of the newly restored pipe organ in St John's Chapel. Part of the design of the original building, and built in 1816 by the renowned Georgian organ builder George Pike England, the organ has been dismantled and unplayable for the past forty years.  The programme will include works by Handel, Samuel Wesley, the Chichester composer John Marsh and other English composers contemporary with the building of the organ.

Tickets for this recital are £10 and are obtainable by sending a cheque payable to The Pallant Charitable Trust together with a stamped addressed envelope to Jonathan Randall, 22 Orkney Road, Portsmouth, PO6 3UE  or from the Chichester Box Office, The Novium,Tower Street, Chichester, PO19 1QH (01243 775888).
